Ed Blair, President
Ed is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Masters from Abilene Christian. After serving as a school teacher/coach and school principal, Ed left education in 1980 to start over a dozen companies in aviation, petroleum, technology, and environmental fields. In 2010, Ed retired from business and founded HIS Plan Ministry with his wife Debbie. For the last decade, Ed has led HIS Plan to serve over 180 small missions in the Dallas Metroplex and has been instrumental in assisting Care Center Ministries in starting Truth Academy, a private Christian school in Pleasant Grove. Ed has two daughters and four grandchildren.
Mike Smith, Secretary/Treasurer
Mike is a recently retired electrical engineer and avid guitarist. After graduating from Texas A&M, he spent 35 years in the semiconductor industry, starting as a chip designer and ultimately becoming an executive running the communications divisions. He and his wife Faye have been involved in worship music since the early '80s. They have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
Deborah Walker, Director
Deborah has owned Deborah Walker Interiors for over 30 years. She is one of the top interior designers in Dallas, doing business across the U.S., along with work in England and the Caribbean Islands. In 2010 Deborah began working with school-age girls (HIS Girl) in the economically disadvantaged area of Dallas.
Joe Martin, Director
Joe is the founder and Senior Pastor of C3 Trinity in Dallas, TX. A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Pastor Joe has served on a number of ministry boards throughout his career. Pastor Joe has preached and ministered in over 43 countries. Joe’s wife, Nancy, is the co-founding pastor at C3 Trinity, they have two children and seven grandchildren.
Elie Nabushosi, Board Member
Elie, is passionate about mentorship and youth development. Elie is recently graduated with an MBA from the Cox School of Business at SMU. Elie is the visionary founder and CEO of PlayerStream, an early-stage venture whose goal is to streamline the college recruitment process for athletes and coaches. He is in Strategy & Management Consulting at Accenture in San Fransisco, California.
Lonnie Sawyer, Board Member
Pastor Lonnie serves as the lead pastor at Hilltop Church and CareCenter Ministries. He has a bachelor's degree in theology and biblical studies and is married with three children. He works alongside his father, serving people in poverty and addiction.
Priscilla Navarro, Board Member
Priscilla is a native of Texas and has lived in McKinney since 2015. She is a mother of two teenagers and has been married for 19 years. She is a highly committed, dedicated, and active volunteer. Since 2012, she has been a leader of community service projects at Pepsico. In addition, she serves and ministers to the elementary school children at Hope Fellowship Church in Frisco.
